This website is mainly for people who are curious in knowing what happened the day of my accident. I will be posting
some pictures of the vehicule I was driving and some of me in the hospital. Some pictures are a bit disturbing but nothing
too bad.
How the accident happened:
On November 21 at about 4:45pm about 5 minutes from Latchford, I was driving behind a transport (and NO, Serge
and I were NOT RACING) on my way home from spending the night at Adam Gauthier appartment in Sudbury. I decided to peek
out to see if there was any oncomming traffic so I could pass the transport, as I pulled out to look, there was a 1 ton Pickup
truck towing a trailer full of snowmobiles in which I had no time to react and we hit head-on. The truck then flipped on its
side hitting an SUV.

The driver side of my Nissan Sentra took most of the impact. My brother Serge and his Girlfriend Tammy we're in the vehicle
right behind me, they just missed hitting me as they we're stoping. They both ran out of their vehicle expecting to see the
worst of me.

When they got to my car (which was a mess) they saw that I was awake and wondering what just happened, i think
I might have been passed out for 10-20 seconds but im not too sure. Serge then called 911. I also had my dog in the car "Fez",
I remembered him being under my seat while I was driving but at that time I had no idea where he was. All my windows
had shattered and pretty much hit me in the face, my sunglasses were on top of my head and those caused some pretty good cuts
on top of my head.

While I was in the car, there we're people coming up to me asking if I was alright, people said I looked like a ghost.
I was just trying to figure out what had just hapened, i was so confused. I ended up with a pretty good concussion out of
this. It felt like forever for them to actually get things going, felt like I was in that car for longer then 1hour and 30
minutes, they took out the jaws of life and there was a girl in the back seat holding my head the whole time, it reacked of
battery acid. They riped the top of my car open and turned it into a convertible and then they cut my steering wheel in half
so it would be easier to get me out.

As they pushed the dash away from my feet, I felt my dog moving under my seat so they reached in and grabbed him, which
took a big load of my mind. they then put me on a stretcher and put me in the ambulance, serge came with me. I got to the
hospital and I was starting to feel pain because they were moving me, thats when they gave me some happy juice (morpheine),
all the pain was gone, they stiched up my head (14 stitches) and my hand and arm (8 stitches). My hand was burnt really bad
from the battery acid.

I got x-rays of pretty much my whole body to see what was wrong, they figured out my arm was broken because of the bone
sticking out and they thought I had a shattered knee cap(which was wrong, good old New Liskeard) they weren't too sure about
my neck so they airlifted me to the sudbury hospital the next day.

My whole family was at the hospital minutes after I arrived and my Girfriend Meghan made it down from St-Thomas with
her friends Amanda and Riley which I would like to Thank for driving her down. Meghan joined me in the helicopter
ride to sudbury and I began my long ass road to recovery. My family wasn't too far behind me.

I went for surjery on my left arm, they put a plate and screws to join my bone together. Then came the HALO because I
fractured my fourth Vertebrea, the shittiest part of this and I have it on for 3 months, minimum. They screwed screws into
my forehead and the back of my head (I was awake). It felt like 2 people were trying to crush my head. Not the best feeling
ever. Now I will anwser the question that everyone asks...Yes it is uncomfortable to sleep with and I can sleep on my sides.
It use to hurt in the beginning but now its not so bad. I bit completly through my tongue and chipped my front teeth, cracked
2 molars in the back of my mouth.

My first time out of my room was weird, I had to walk from my bed to the door where they had a wheelchair waiting for
me. I needed help getting to the chair. As the days went by, I was getting a bit strong and was awake longer during the day
because they took me off the morpheine and put me on T3's. Which sucked cause it still hurt after 2 T3's. I was finally starting
to walk after 6 days in bed and my knee was bruised so it buckelled every once and a while but I never fell. my first time
up alone, I felt like a robot so I started dancing and singing Mr. Roboto.

Took forever for them to let me out of there, I had to start cleaning myself(theres nothing like someone else cleaning you
lol). Then on november 30th they finally let me go home. The ride home was long but I made it past Latchford that time lol.
I would like to thank everyone for their help and support through this incident, it is greatly appreciated from me and my
family.

Please don't forget to write a comment and PLEASE drive safely, think twice before everything. Be sure when you pass.
Hope people learn from these pictures, I know I did.
January 6th 2005:
Im sure people are probably wondering how I have been doing lately, so I have decided to put updates every week or so
whenever I find the time in my busy schedual..HA... Well the last month was pretty long, ill tell you that, you dont
notice how many things there are to do around here until you cant do them, its pretty bad when I want to go outside to shovel
by hand. I am dying to jump in the shower and actually be really clean for a while.... But I guess getting baths from my girlfriend
isn't all that bad (Ofcourse I wear a Bathing suit). I really dont like how I bought a snowmobile for the winter either, now
it will just sit there. Sure it will be looking good when I take it out next year or hey maybe even this year but im not counting
on it. I really miss playing hockey and 2 nights ago I went to watch my old team play..BIG MISTAKE... I want to play
even more now. The past month has went by pretty slow, but im sure this month will go by faster, considering I'm going
to have both arms, Maybe on the 13th, im not sure, if all is healed well. I will be ice fishing as often as I can, I just
have to figure out how im going to put the Ski-doo Helmet Serge bought me for Christmas on my head. The way I keep
looking at it is that I could be worst. So I hope everyone had a safe Christmas and didn't drink too much on the new year...
take care
Happy New Year....Hope this one is Better.
January 13th:
Finally today they took my cast off... my arm is very stiff but it feels really nice. I will probably have to go through
some physio but thats no big deal. its nice to actually see stuff hapening (with the healing process that is) Im still in
Sudbury at the moment and I have to scan my cat (catscan) on the 17th of january, so im just going to spend the week
here. Well thats all i have to say for now.. take care everyone. by the way I found this picture of me and fez the day
of my accident right before I left here. it was like 3 hours before my accident.

January 21th 2005:
Well I would have to say that I am the most unlucky person ever, well Serge, Tammy and I anyways. Last night we decided
that we were comming to v-town to pick up Serge's Snowmobile he just bought, and he was going to play some pick-up hockey.
In order for him to bring his snowmobile back he needed Bob's Truck, but it worked out because Bob needed a car to get to
sudbury for a hockey tournament and didn't want his Hockey Bag to freeze. So Serge, Tammy and I are on our way to V-town and
as we are going up a hill, the back end starts sliding, ofcourse Serge tries to bring it back but that didn't work, we end
up hitting the ditch and flipping the truck over and bouncing of a rock cut. YES ANOTHER ACCIDENT. Serge's Window broke
so he climbed out and I had hit my head on the roof of the truck as we were flipping over. Tammy was in the back seat.
Serge made a trail for me to crawl out and Tammy wasn't too far behind me. Serge and Tammy were fine but I had blood comming
out of where the pins in my head were. So I headed to the hospital with Claude Demers (friend of the family who was driving
by). They took a lot of X-rays and said nothing was broken or anything so All I was stuck with was a headache.. They gave
me some drugs which dont seem to be doing the job. But This morning I had to go to Sudbury to get checked and everything is
fine, I will just have a headache for a while, then I came back home SAFELY. Well yeah thats my story. I am sore at the moment
but all will heal well. here are some pictures of bobs Truck. I Am also considering staying in the house for the remainder
of my healing period. Also my doctor saw the results of my cat-scan and everything is healling according to plan. Which is
good.

February 7th 2005:
Hello everyone....I have went about 2 weeks without an accident..YES.. Things are starting to look up as there is only
19 days till I get my halo off and I got my SRX. Took it for a little ride, couldn't help it. Lately my halo has been loosening
up because of the second accident which means that I have to go to sudbury almost once a week to get the screw tightened.
I was just there today and he was able to tighten it by hand. They decided to try at 3 pounds of torque and wow did it even
hurt, never felt pain like that in my life... well not much to say really. Very excited to get this thing off my head. Take
care everyone and drive safely.... Picture of My Yamaha and Serge's Bomb..Mines better

March 6th 2005:
Hey everyone, well im out of my halo and feeling really good... I have to wear a neck brace now till I get x-rays again,
if everything is good then I think I get to take it off.. Even though right now it feels better with it off... I Get to take
it off to Shower for at least an hour everyday... best hour of the day thats for sure.. I can finally put a helmet on and
now its way warmer on the Snowmobile or 4 wheeler to get to the ice shack.. I have been doing a lot of fishing lately. The
plate in my arm is bothering me a bit because it keeps swelling up everytime I work it, im thinking they will take it out
sooner or later. Well Everything is going very good for me if anyone was wondering. So drive Safely and thanks for visiting
my site.
